Map of Days
Terms of Service
The rules for using the Map of Days beta.
Effective / last updated: 2026-10-07
On this page
1. Agreement and beta status
By creating an account or using Map of Days, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is in beta: features, availability, data formats, and limits may change, and interruptions or defects may occur. Do not rely on Map of Days as the only copy of important information.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If local law requires a parent or guardian's consent, you may use the service only with that consent.
- Provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.
3. Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain ownership of content you create. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, and according to your visibility choices. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary technical copies and records we must retain by law.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or share, including photos, names, locations, and information about other people.
4. Safe and acceptable use
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not use Map of Days to break the law, trespass, stalk, harass, expose sensitive locations, impersonate others, distribute harmful or infringing material, manipulate rewards, attack the service, evade limits, or access another person's account or data.
Map and treasure features are not navigation, emergency, or safety services. Stay aware of your surroundings, obey signs and local rules, and never enter unsafe or restricted areas to reveal fog or collect an item.
5. Third-party services and purchases
Authentication, maps, email, cloud hosting, and app-store purchases may be provided by third parties and are also subject to their terms. If paid products become available, the displayed price, billing period, renewal controls, cancellation path, and restore behavior will be shown before purchase. Apple or Google processes payment and normally handles billing support, refunds, and store-account management under its rules.
6. Suspension, deletion, and changes
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. We may change or discontinue beta features, but will not intentionally use a product change to prevent a valid export or deletion request.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfectly complete location history, or that map, place, route, treasure, or user-generated information is accurate. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. For losses that can lawfully be limited, our responsibility is limited to direct, reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach; we are not responsible for indirect loss or conduct outside our reasonable control.
8. Contact and updates
Questions about these Terms can be sent to vincentno1@gmail.com. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, export your data and delete your account before continuing.
